The couple pays $100 monthly for healthcare, alongside a $125 monthly top-up plan for added benefits, and total out-of-pocket healthcare costs for 2023 amounted to $4,000, a fraction of what they would pay in the US.

Healthcare is a major concern for many retirees in the US.
Colombia is an excellent retirement option if healthcare is a high priority, with many affordable world-class clinics and specialists in Bogota, Medellin etc.
