China extends visa-free stay for eligible foreign travelers from 72 and 144 hours to 10 days, in a bid to enhance international openness.
The policy update increased the permitted stay period and expanded the designated travel regions and ports. The move is anticipated to boost flexible travel routes, multi-destination tourism, and business activities across China.
As of November 2024, China has provided unilateral visa-free entry to 38 countries for stays of up to 30 days.
My Take…
It is good to see China slowly opening up. That is good news for everyone in my opinion.
