After retiring in England, a couple found their true paradise in Cyprus.
Initially drawn by medical tourism, they quickly fell for the island’s charm, stunning beaches, rich history, and a relaxed lifestyle.
Since moving in 2017, they’ve embraced local traditions, enjoying fresh Mediterranean cuisine, cultural festivals, and an active social life.
With a pleasant climate, accessible healthcare, and plenty of activities from kayaking to opera, they have no plans to leave.
Nearly a decade in, they remain grateful for their island escape, proving that sometimes, the best retirement plans take an unexpected, and sunnier turn.

Cyprus is a popular retirement destination for Brits.
I have never been, and it’s “currently” not on my list, but who knows….
