More Americans are eyeing life abroad, and golden visas are their ticket.
According to residency firm Global Citizen Solutions, U.S. interest in foreign visas has skyrocketed, with Americans now making up nearly half their clients.
Portugal, Greece, Panama, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean are top picks, thanks to lower investment thresholds and solid retirement perks.
Portugal alone saw an eightfold jump in golden visa applications. Meanwhile, studies show travel boosts longevity, so this expat wave might truly be the best of both worlds: sunshine, security, and a longer, healthier life.
