Many Americans are striving to retire early, with the average target retirement age being 57.
In response, emerging movements like “Financial Independence, Retire Early” (FIRE) encourage living frugally to achieve this. However, their is also unique twist called “Passion FIRE”.
Founder of the movement Melanie Allen, reflects on why “Most people want to work. But they want to do things they enjoy and are proud of.”
Finding a passion that can serve as an income source, can also ensure both a fulfilling life and early retirement.
Rather than dreading a purposeless post-retirement life, retirees can engage in meaningful activities and make extra income, bringing a new dimension to early retirement planning.
