Panama has taken the crown, again. According to the Expat Insider survey, it’s the best place in the world for expats, topping the list for the second year in a row.
The Central American gem ranked in the top three across all categories, including personal finance and ease of settling in.
A comfy life in Panama can cost as little as $800 a month outside the capital.
No wonder nearly 94% of expats there report being happy.
Meanwhile, the U.S. landed way down at number 36.
For many, especially retirees, paradise might just come with a Panama address.
My Take…
Personally I would pick Colombia, Mexico or Thailand over Panama. Horses for courses I guess.
