Five Affordable Walkable Cities For A Richer Life Abroad

He opens the update with a grin in his voice, talking about the dream of living well for less. The story today, he says, is about five cities where life unfolds at walking pace, Chiang Mai, Plovdiv, Cuenca, Shkoder, and Tbilisi. Each place, he notes, has that perfect mix of culture, café charm, and affordability that draws expats and retirees looking for a slower, richer rhythm.

He describes the daily scene: morning coffee in a local café, afternoons wandering galleries, evenings with friends in cozy restaurants. It’s less about escaping and more about living, on foot, among locals, surrounded by history and good food.

For those serious about making the move, he mentions help with visas, real estate, and relocation through trusted partners and consulting. There’s even a free eBook called *The Art of Living Large for Less* and tools for taxes, virtual mail, and health insurance abroad.

He wraps up by reminding viewers that the dream is real but planning matters. Research each destination, talk to professionals, and build the life you actually want, one walkable city street at a time.

My Take…

I agree, both Cuenca and Chang Mai are highly walkable cities.
